Real-World Training in a Family Home

Dogs live and train inside a trainer’s home, gaining real-world manners in a family environment—not left waiting in kennels between sessions.

Trusted Trainers, Proven Expertise

Founded by police K9 handlers, Kodiak K9 only works with trainers who meet the highest standards of experience, professionalism, and care.

We had a great experience with the training of our dog, Tiza! While walking, being the hound she is, she would pull on the leash or stop to sniff everything, making a walk a difficult task. Now she heels correctly, and we let her "free" to sniff, etc. She used to bark a lot to other dogs while in the car, or during the walks as well, and that is another behavior that was corrected. I truly recommend Kodiak K9, their trainers are experienced and the change was substantial. That said, she never lost her playfulness, but now we are able to let her know when she is allowed and when she is not.

Very highly recommend Kodiak K9! Reese trained with Brad for 2 weeks, absolutely loving meeting the other dogs and cuddling with kids and neighbors. He went from constantly pulling on the leash to comfortably walking on loose lead and off leash entirely. He’s still very much our puppy, but he is so much better about all the bad habits we had been seeing.

We had such a great experience with Megan for our dog Newt’s board and train! From start to finish she went above and beyond with super responsive communication, great videos, and an excellent lesson when we wrapped up. Her personable approach and the in-home training made the program really stand out.
